How I Got Started
I started photography the summer of 2020 for our church. It was just for fun and not something I was planning on pursuing. Shortly after I got started I found out I was pregnant with my son, Kyle, and decided that with how hard pregnancy was for me, starting a new hobby wouldn't be ideal.
After Kyle was born is when I realized how much I loved (and missed) taking photos. At that time the photos I were taking were mostly of my sweet boy, but still they inspired me. The inspiration was to be able to take photos of families and capture those priceless moments.
I opened up to Ethan about that little desire and he was encouraging and supportive. It was a little conversation that I didn't think much of but it stuck with Ethan. A few weeks later he surprised me with my own camera and told me to "go for it".
So here I am, going for it.
